Job Title: Roustabout Laborer

Job Type: Full-Time

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

NO HOUSING PROVIDED AT THIS TIME.SUMMARY

The Roustabout / Laborer is responsible for supporting field operations through the maintenance, repair, transportation, setup, and servicing of DHI equipment and assets. This position plays a critical role in ensuring frac tanks, service equipment, and job sites remain safe, operational, and ready to support customer operations. The Roustabout / Laborer will perform equipment inspections, repairs, rig-up and rig-down activities, and general field support while maintaining compliance with company safety policies and operational procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIESEquipment Maintenance and Repairs
  • Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on DHI frac tanks and related equipment.
  • Conduct valve replacements, valve lubrication, tire changes, washing, and minor mechanical repairs.
  • Identify equipment deficiencies and communicate repair needs to supervisors.
  • Complete all maintenance and repair documentation accurately and submit required reports daily.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and operational readiness.
  • Field Operations Support
  • Assist with job site setup, rigup, operation support, and rigdown activities.
  • Safely transport equipment, tools, and materials as directed.
  • Support field personnel with operational tasks to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, staging, and organizing equipment and materials.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and hazardfree work areas, yards, and equipment staging locations.
  • Equipment and Vehicle Accountability
  • Maintain assigned service trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment in a safe and operational condition.
  • Ensure all required tools, supplies, and materials are properly stocked and accounted for.
  • Conduct routine vehicle and equipment inspections and report deficiencies promptly.
  • Protect company assets through proper care, maintenance, and responsible operation
  • Safety and Compliance
  • Follow all DHI Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
  • Immediately report incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, equipment failures, customer concerns, or other operational issues.
  • Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and required certifications.
  • Maintain compliance with all customer site requirements, company policies, and applicable regulations.
  • Administrative Responsibilities
  • Accurately complete daily timekeeping requirements.
  • Complete and submit work tickets and operational documentation in a timely manner.
  • Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding job progress, equipment status, and operational needs.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
  • EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent (Required)
  • EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in oilfield services, construction, industrial labor, equipment maintenance, or related field preferred.
  • Experience working around frac tanks, fluid management equipment, or oilfield operations is preferred.
  • SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and basic field equipment.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work in changing weather conditions, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS
  • Regularly works outdoors and is exposed to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and dust.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical equipment, noise, vibration, and other fieldrelated hazards.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods.
  • WORK SCHEDULE

    Full-time position with work schedules varying based on operational and customer needs. Additional hours, on-call assignments, weekends, and holidays may be required.
