Job description

Job Summary:

As a key support pillar of our HR team, the Corporate Office - Human Resources Assistant is a rewarding role where you get to be the friendly face and helping hand behind the scenes of everything HR! In this position, you will champion our company missions by answering associate questions, maintaining confidential records, and providing essential support for payroll, benefits, and HRIS systems. You will collaborate closely with associates, managers, and the HR team to keep the department organized and running smoothly, while helping bring to life events like open enrollment, recognition programs, and training initiatives. If you love using discretion and attention to detail to support others, juggle a variety of tasks, and deliver top-notch service in a fast-paced environment, this role is the perfect place to grow your HR career!

A Day in the Life:  Corporate Office - Human Resources Assistant:

Although everyday is different, a typical morning starts with getting the HR office up and running — checking voicemail and email, answering the first phone calls of the day, and helping route associates to the right resource. You might greet someone stopping by with a question, reset a password for our HRIS platform or start pulling together paperwork for a new hire.

Mid-morning is often where the variety kicks in. You could be auditing an employee file, entering updates into the HRIS system, processing an ID badge, or sorting the day's mail and prepping outgoing correspondence. If an audit or event is coming up, you're likely pulling records or prepping materials for that too.

After lunch, the pace stays steady but shifts toward projects — reconciling and coding invoices, proofreading memos, approving recognitions, or helping put together materials for an upcoming training session or recognition event. You might field a call from an associate needing an employment verification, or help the HR team pull data for a request.
Late afternoon is for closing loops: finishing correspondence, filing the day's paperwork, running an errand or two, and making sure anything time-sensitive is handed off before you wrap up. No two days look exactly alike, but confidentiality, organization, and a helpful attitude carry through all of them.
