Job description

Office Assistant - Public Health Program

Salary/Position Classification
  • $14.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 8 - 10 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist with inventory project and related surplus requests 
  • Assist with records management project (scanning paper files and reorganizing digital files) 
  • Assist with data entry tasks 
  • Complete additional tasks as requested 
Required Competencies
  • Experience with spreadsheets
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively set priorities, manage time, and meet task deadlines
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Accepted Federal Work Study award for Fall 2026
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for Fall 2026
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
