What You'll Do

As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you'll create a welcoming, engaging classroom where children feel confident, curious, and excited to learn every day.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily learning experiences
  • Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
  • Encourage creativity, independence, and positive peer relationships
  • Observe, assess, and document children's developmental progress
  • Build strong relationships with families through regular communication
  • Mentor and support Assistant Teachers while promoting teamwork and collaboration
  • Maintain classroom organization while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and Montana licensing requirements
  • Partner with center leadership to deliver high-quality early childhood education


What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Preschool Teacher or Lead Teacher in a licensed childcare or early learning program
  • Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
  • Experience planning and implementing preschool curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Positive, dependable, and collaborative leadership style
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
  • Ability to complete all required Montana licensing, training, and background check requirements
