StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Program/Project/Management Analyst, Journeyman in Patuxent River MD to support a NAVAIR PMA on our recently awarded, Prime contract. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset and the ability to effectively evaluate and support program requirements, status tracking, budgeting, and scheduling. The Program/Project/Management Analyst, Journeyman will be responsible for but not limited to the following requirements.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of the program and can perform all functional duties independently or as part of a team.
  • Front office deputy operations duties to include workflow management, document preparation and routing, scheduling, tasker management, travel approval coordination, and communications
  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
  • Defense Travel System activities
  • Process development for front office processes
  • On-boarding and welcome processes
  • Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.
  • Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or in a team environment.
  • Self-starter, work is primarily in office

Travel Requirements:
  • N/A

Experience Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-10 years of professional experience performing duties described in the functional description.
  • Experience with AMS tools (CSPT, PMT, CDRL) is a plus
  • Defense Travel System (DTS)
  • Familiarity with the NAVAIR contract process
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work PowerPoint, Outlook): specifically PowerPoint and Excel to be able to assist with Briefs, reports, and financial data.
  • Experience with Teams and SharePoint
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • High-level communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree

Allowable substitutions include:
  • Associate's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Security Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Eligible part-time employees are able to participate in the 401(k) retirement plans and may be eligible for state or contract required paid time off programs.
