This role requires being onsite 3+ days per week with the client in one of the following locations: Jersey City NJ, Addison TX, Richmond VA, or Charlotte NC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technology Project, Program, or Release Management

  • Guides projects through all phases, ensuring required standards and processes are followed, required documents are completed, and required tracking systems are kept updated

  • Contributes to artifacts needed for governance forums, QA, Audit, Risk.

  • Understands stakeholder expectations and creates regular updates to keep stakeholders informed

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of end to end Project and Program Management experience

  • Associates Degree or higher

  • Strong background in one or more of the following areas: Application Management, Release Management, Quality Management, Project Management, Environments Management

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Able to organize plans/timelines (primarily in Excel)

  • Strong Project Management Skills, ability to lead a team and drive to results

  • Able to track and follow up on planned/past due/completed tasks

  • Familiar with change management tools and systems (i.e. Remedy, ServiceNow, others)

  • Familiar with agile work management tools and systems (i.e. JIRA, Rally, etc...)

  • Must be able to take initiative and be a fast learner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Must possess analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong project financial management skills

  • Understands all roles and responsibilities within their team, and uses the tool sets within the software lifecycle

  • Working knowledge of products, services, business flows and understanding of financial context in which technology and operating principles are used within their business area

  • Has knowledge of software development and general awareness of testing

  • Basic knowledge of automation and continuous delivery practices

  • Basic awareness of architecture and design

  • Ability to comply with bank standards for information security and business architectures

  • Ability to provide project status on deliverables or escalate issues to sr. leaders and executives
