Job description

The Program Project Analyst conducts special studies to analyze financial actions and prepares recommendations for program management review.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Interprets and applies policies, government legislation and accounting theories.
  • Audit labor reports for correct charging and invoicing, tracking overtime wages.
  • Will serve as the primary expense report approver for authorized company or government travel for employees assigned to Vance AFB.
  • Ensures compliance with internal procedures and regulatory agencies.
  • Acts as a liaison between program controls group and prepares comparative evaluation of actual costs against budgets.
  • Make recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies.
  • Develop plans including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements.
  • Coordinates, negotiates, and resolves financial compliance issues with various agencies.
  • Oversee purchasing orders and receiving program for product purchases.
  • Oversees management of government furnished equipment inventory for the program.
  • Responsible for the coordination of inspections, repairs, documentation, and reporting of 60 Sunshade Shelters to protect fleet the assigned training aircraft.
  • Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, or Accounting, or Finance, or related discipline, preferred, with minimum for (4) years' experience in similar role, or
  • High school degree or equivalent required with minimum of eight (8) years' experience in similar role
  • Demonstrate proficiency in finance and accounting relational databases.
  • Intermediate to advance experience with Microsoft Excel, pivot tables and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and General Accepted Accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent decision making, problem solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Results oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills and able to work independently.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain site access. Note: U.S. Citizen is required to obtain site access.
  • Must be able to obtain a valid driver's license with REAL ID within 30 days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Deltek preferred.

Compensation Details:
Salary Range: $72,000 - $75,000
