OurDefense Systems Sectoris seeking a Principal Project Management Analyst to join our growing team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

This Principal Project Management Analyst position will support Program Managers who lead large projects within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment. Tasks include assistance with technical planning, requirements development, tracking, system integration, scheduling, conference setup and hosting, and acting as the team scribe to deliver conference minutes, etc. The position requires the individual to work directly with Responsible Engineers, Project Leads, and Managers to execute/manage cost, schedule, and performance on highly technical projects across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities:

(High level of experience) Overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing projects. Serves as the liaison between program managers, other team members, contract labor, Subcontractors, and Support Staff; Providing proactive and reactive support to other Project Management employees, Project Engineers, Logisticians, and Managers on numerous different Engineering Projects

(High level of experience) Reviewing/tracking status of projects/tasks, and budgets; managing schedules; preparing conference (i.e., meetings) agendas, presentation material (e.g., capture, collect, and compile data and create slides and other materials covering relevant conference topics), formal meeting minutes; development of formal status reports.

(High level of experience) Tracking/managing Contractual deliveries to the Customer, between Sectors (in NGC), and to/from Subcontractors; staying ahead of projected deliveries to ensure they are provided/received on-time or early

(Moderate level of experience) Participating in contractual and technical meetings and engineering reviews; taking detailed notes to facilitate creation of detailed/technically complex (Customer Deliverable-quality) meeting minutes

(High level of experience) Capturing and managing Action Items to completion and/or close

(Moderate level of experience) Assessing project issues/problems and developing/implementing associated resolutions to meet productivity, quality, budget, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

(High level of experience) Working directly with project managers, line managers, Subcontractors, and clients/customers to develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and intervention methods/tools for problem solving

(Moderate level experience) Supporting new business development, proposal work, new contract capture planning, and short and long-range strategic planning

(High level of experience) Developing/establishing positive, professional, customer relationships and a resultant high level of customer satisfaction

(Moderate level of experience) Developing, maintaining, and adhering to Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)

(High level of experience) Using Microsoft (MS) Office products to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Project

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 5 years of project management related experience OR Master's degree with 3 year of experience supporting Aerospace, Department of Defense, Government contracts, and/or project management related experience.

High level of experience working with groups/teams, individuals, and support/administrative staff.

Moderate level of experience using various Web applications/software programs like MS SharePoint, MS Project, Teamcenter, Cradle, etc.

Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.

Must be able to work on-site in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with multiple levels of the organization (e.g., managers and other employees) and possess excellent presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (or higher).

(High level of experience) working with Groups/Teams, individuals, and Support/Administrative staff

(High level of experience) with Risk Management actions, development/tracking/updating of Return-to-Green (RTG) plans, and scheduling cross functional activities

(Moderate level experience) with Earned Value Management processes/systems

(Entry level experience) working with Air Force customers and aerospace industry personnel

(High level of experience) using various Web applications/Software programs like MS SharePoint; Teamcenter, Cradle, etc.

Ability to perform tasks autonomously with minimal oversight & supervision

Expertly manage a balance of regularly scheduled work and tasks as well as providing support for urgent short notice tasks and events

Primary Level Salary Range: $77,000.00 - $115,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
