Job Summary:

The Operations Assistant role is a staff position and offers an opportunity to become exposed to many different aspects of the terminal business. The Operations Assistant works with the directors and terminal managers to assist with many different aspects of the terminals as needed. This role reports to the Manager, Terminal Operations Support. The Ops Assistant must have excellent organization skills and be capable of performing / overseeing numerous tasks occurring simultaneously. The Ops Assistant will be responsible for any administrative tasks for their area. This role will be a 9-80 work schedule but hours or schedule may change depending on the business need. The Operations Assistant will be based at one terminal but also cover duties at others in complex (with site-specific duties).

  • Assisting the Terminal Managers and operators in accomplishing the ever changing daily operating plans and challenges is part of the role.
  • The Ops Assistant needs to be knowledgeable of the physical layout of the facilities they support.
  • Detailed familiarity with corporate and local operating, environmental, safety, security procedures, TMS and water management is required.

Pay Range:

$24.28 - $33.89

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
