Program Operations Support Specialist MID This position requires an active Public Trust clearance to be considered. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Program Operations Support Specialist - MID to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to a dynamic program management team. This role is responsible for facilitating smooth program execution through effective coordination, tracking, and reporting of key operational activities. The ideal candidate will bring mid-level experience in program support within a federal, defense, or government contracting environment. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Program Operations Support Specialist MID: $75,000 - $80,000 Pay commensurate with experience. Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Program Operations Support Specialist MID Responsibilities Include: * Assist program leadership with operational planning, execution, and reporting activities.
* Maintain and update program documentation, schedules, and deliverables.
* Track action items, risks, and milestones using program management tools and templates.
* Coordinate logistics for meetings, briefings, and stakeholder engagements.
* Support data collection, analysis, and preparation of routine reports and presentations.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and contractual obligations.
* Interface with cross-functional teams including finance, logistics, HR, and procurement.
* Respond to taskers and data calls in a timely and accurate manner.
* Provide administrative support such as correspondence drafting, file management, and travel coordination.
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned Program Operations Support Specialist MID Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Must have worked as an Action Officer (AO) at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) or one of the military medical headquarters.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with project tracking tools.
* Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Prior experience supporting government or defense programs preferred.
* Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
* Must possess or have the ability to obtain a U.S. Public Trust clearance.
