Overall Scope:

Dover Fueling Solutions, one of the world's leading suppliers of fuel dispensers, payment terminals, forecourt control devices, point-of-sale and other measurement and control solutions to the retail and commercial fueling industry is seeking a Program Manager whose primary role is to manage, execute and coordinate complex, cross-departmental projects both externally for post-sales large multi-product implementations of hardware, software, or integrated solutions and internally for new product introductions. Dover Fueling Solutions products and applications are hardware, software or integrated hardware and software offerings, therefore experience with new product launch for hardware platforms as well as software integration are preferred. This role is expected to manage the program both at the highest levels engaging senior management and at the detail level ensuring all teams are delivering on commitments within the accepted timelines.  This role will coordinate multiple programs simultaneously and work with other Program Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Service and other cross functional extended team leads to:
   Plan and coordinate all activities related to specific customer product sales opportunities, implemented to meet sales goals and/or
   Translate the product vision and strategy into a project plan within the overall NPD framework.
   Ensure that key program stakeholders are fully engaged in and aligned with the program deliverables, progress and emerging risks.
Program Management & Control
   Drive process discipline and accountability throughout the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of projects.
   Develop and maintain project plans and status reports, manage project resources, engage cross-functional teams to provide quality analyses, coordinate beta plans, track and report defects and defect resolution, complete final documentation, training, and coordinate product launch plans.
   Execute DFS' New Product Development processes, including but not limited to project gate transitions and change management processes.
   Prepare and manage project budgets and facilitate and communicate periodic cost analyses.
   Experience in Agile/SAFe, waterfall and hybrid program delivery methods.
Business Acumen
   Understand the business imperative of the programs being led to effectively drive program delivery.
   Clearly communicate all program-level financial commitments to core team members and stakeholders.
Technical Acumen
   Strong Hardware and Software development knowledge.  Understand the technology concepts used on projects in enough depth to challenge assumptions, estimates, approaches, and risks. Possess general understanding of technical design, implementation, and quality assurance.
Change Management
   Strong change management skills creating clarity of vision, unifying teams and resources and dealing with conflict and resistance
   Flexible during times of change. Adjust to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
   Elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, across the hierarchy, peers, and other functional teams.  Engage the team to drive creative solutions when challenges arise.
   Ability to defuse tension among project teams and facilitate constructive discussion to reach resolutions.
Communication
   Manage the expectations of all stakeholders from the highest levels in the company through transparent and proactive communications.  Develop strategies to ensure status, accomplishments, issues, and risks are communicated clearly. Facilitate effective and efficient forward-looking team meetings.
Risk Management
   Identify and quantify project risks and initiate risk management plans to address such risks.

Experience/Qualifications:

   Bachelor's Degree required (Engineering or related field of study preferred)
   Minimum of 5 years of work experience in program or project management, or a related function working with technology products and/or services
   Strong collaborative and influencing skills
   Ability to demonstrate flexibility and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
   Excellent written and oral communication skills; comfortable facilitating and presenting to groups
   Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

   PMP certification preferred
   Experience managing new product/technology introductions, including supply chain readiness, is strongly preferred
   Software program management and/or software/hardware integration experience is a plus
   Experience in the retail petroleum industry is a plus
   Experience with cloud IoT and management of implementations involving customers, partners and service providers is a plus
