ARC is looking for a Principle Program Manager to join our team! In this role, you will manage end to end deployment of complex technology modernization program with a wide range of initiatives and workstreams.  You will translate strategic ideas into executable plans and be accountable for delivery. You will partner with business and program leads to ensure alignment to business goals and communicate technical strategy. You will generate and maintain program plans/roadmaps that include current year key initiatives and outyear strategic goals. You will deliver strategic outcomes by directing and scaling engineering efforts across functional teams and negotiating complex technical decisions and priorities. You will implement program governance to manage risks, issues, and dependencies, control program financials, understand resource allocation (both ARC and vendor partner) and available capacity, and manage change.  You will provide thought leadership to communicate program plans/roadmaps, delivery progress, risks/issues, program financials, interdependency progress, priority changes and other aspects of the program to executives and peers.

What You'll Get to Do:
  • Define the program using a results-oriented approach so that program leads, team members, and business counterparts focus on key initiatives and drive program execution to deliver expected outcomes.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Establish effective and transparent communication channels at all levels of the organization to enhance operational efficiency and delivery outcomes. Ensure there is uniformity in planning outcomes, reporting, governance, and escalation processes. Increase awareness of interdependencies and risks, and ensure priorities are aligned.
  • Drive the creation of the program's plans/roadmaps for the current year and outyears. Promote the program plan/roadmap. Track progress and revise when changes are approved or necessary. Provide insight and recommendations to drive continuous improvement and share lessons learned.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain program governance frameworks to ensure consistent and predictable project execution. Create or recommend best practices to improve delivery efforts, manage costs, achieve expected goals, or build understanding across the program.
  • Manage program financials and scope, including forecasts, resource allocation, budget estimates and other aspects to have a holistic view of program costs and available budget and capacity. Incorporate change management to understand impacts to the budget and resources (both vendor and ARC) and realign the forecast accordingly.
  • Mentor and coach program managers and team members. Foster a collaborative and high performing team culture. Guide team members to ensure project success and encourage growth opportunities.
  • You'll Bring These Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree with preference for a degree in a technical field; equivalent experience considered
    • 10 years of experience in project and program management, preferably within an enterprise technology organization
    • 5+ years of IT project related experience preferred, including programs following traditional, scrum, and scaled agile management approaches
    • PMP certification preferred
    • Competency with Atlassian tools (i.e., Confluence/Jira) and Microsoft Project.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale technology implementations is a must.
    • Strong knowledge of program management methodologies.
    • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
    • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and drive projects to completion.
    • Passion for execution, intellectual curiosity, and overall collaboration
    • Strong analytical capabilities to create and monitor metrics, proactively identify and mitigate risks
    • Ability to negotiate and influence without authority
    • Ability to examine complex problems develop effective solutions and gain buy-in from stakeholders and teams
