Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead multi-functional programs through the development and implementation lifecycle. This role has a direct impact on the delivery of HPE products and services by managing schedules, budgets, and cross-company communications. The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert who exercises significant independent judgment, partners across technical and functional teams, and mentors less experienced staff. The preferred candidate brings a strong blend of technical acumen, leadership capability, and program management expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead programs involving multiple functions and project teams to drive engineering development and implementation for product or service offerings.
  • Develop and direct schedules, critical deliverables, budgets, and resource allocation plans for assigned programs.
  • Oversee activities of supporting project teams and internal development partners, adjusting schedules and resources based on analysis of business information to meet product requirements.
  • Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborate with management and internal partners to resolve escalated issues and ensure adherence to budgets and roadmaps.
  • Drive innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects within the manufacturing and engineering organization.
  • Provide guidance, leadership, and mentoring to less experienced staff members.
  • Engage with external parties such as standards bodies and partners as needed to support program objectives.
  • Drive global security and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
  • Typically, 6+ years of relevant program or project management experience.
  • PMP/PMI certification preferred.
  • Flexible working hours and schedule to coordinate across global teams.
  • Demonstrated success managing all aspects of programs, including scope, schedule, budget, and cross-functional resource coordination.
  • Proven ability to communicate program plans, proposals, and results and negotiate options at senior management levels.
  • Experience working with internal manufacturing and development partners in a matrixed environment.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Extensive experience with project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to translate technical requirements into actionable program plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Familiarity with engineering development processes, product lifecycle management, and quality frameworks.
