Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) for Capacity, Strategy & Proposals to be located onsite in Tucson, Arizona. This role requires knowledge of the material requirements planning (MRP) process with practical knowledge of project and material management.
What You Will Do:
  • Create, manage and execute material program strategy (MPS) and the material program plan (MPP) to ensure program competitiveness and performance from the front end of the business through contract closure.
  • Provide Supply Chain support for Gates 0-11 activities and ensure IPDP compliance for the programs and tailoring when applicable.
  • Owner of the supplier management process (i.e., Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, supplier performance, Small Business plan development and execution, metrics, international issues, develop/evaluate front end of the business strategy, the Collaborative Agreement process, etc.), and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.
  • Work the front end of the business, the MPM identifies and secures Supply Chain resources to support the capture plan and manages the Supply Chain content of the proposal pipeline.
  • Engage with PMO leadership on material strategy execution
  • Coordinate Risk Mitigation and Opportunity capture plans with Procurement
  • Influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one's own job function as well as with parties external to the organization and company
  • Lead projects
  • Identify Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtain any required Terms Attachments (T-Attachments) and/or Modifications (TCMs)
  • Assist with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs)
  • Develop risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives
  • Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Knowledge of the material requirements planning (MRP) process

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an IPT environment.
  • Experience coordinating strategies and managing tactical execution
  • Experience with procurement, MPR, receiving, cost estimating, finance , Statement of works with prime contract requirements and/or negotiations.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
