Job Description:
The Onsite Waco Program Planner/Scheduler is responsible for the development, baselining, integration, and maintenance of complex program schedules, including resource loading, cost/schedule integration, and comprehensive schedule analysis. This role supports program planning activities and facilitates the integration of inputs across all program areas. The successful candidate will collaborate with all elements of the program team to develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and ensure alignment with program objectives.
Essential Functions:
- Develop, maintain, and coordinate Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to support program objectives and contractual requirements.
- Perform detailed schedule analysis for assigned programs or projects, ensuring integration across all functional groups, including finance, engineering, materials, manufacturing, and quality.
- Utilize Gantt charts, milestone charts, critical and driving path analysis, earned value management, and other project management techniques to monitor progress and identify performance variances, enabling timely intervention on critical issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines.
- Lead and participate in scheduling status reviews and provide regular updates to program leadership.
- Collaborate with the Program Management Office to develop and maintain IMS, including standard phases, gates, contract data requirements, and resource loading, for both development and production programs.
- Analyze program schedules to assess resource needs, schedule status, architecture, critical path, variance, network logic, and baseline maintenance across the enterprise.
- Coordinate with cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) members in the development, maintenance, and analysis of work package schedules.
- Provide insights into program scheduling trends and best practices to assist program teams in developing achievable schedules.
- Perform Monte Carlo Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) on key programs as part of standard work processes.
- Manage risk and opportunity within the IMS, ensuring proactive identification and mitigation of schedule risks.
- Support multiple programs of varying complexity simultaneously.
- Drive process improvements to achieve program goals and enhance scheduling practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), including setup, baseline management, maintenance, schedule analysis, critical path analysis, and Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs)
- Demonstrated experience with schedule health metrics (e.g., DCMA 14-point check) and schedule metric analysis (e.g., BEI, CPLI, SPI

- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
- Competent computer skills related to Microsoft office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
