Job description

Job Description BAE Systems is hiring a Program Manager II to support the Artillery group and lead a portion of the M109A7/M992A3 Paladin FMS program. As a Program Manager for Paladin FMS, you are directly responsible for profit and loss for an element of the complex program involving the support through sustainment of M109A7 and M992A3. Provide a competitive advantage to the company by managing the program's defined scope on schedule, within budget, and at the expected level of quality. * The role can be based out of York, PA or Anniston, AL.
* This is a hybrid position where you will work three days onsite weekly, on average.
* The schedule is 9/80 where you will have every other Friday off.
* There is a travel requirement of 25%, including one international trip annually, on average.
Responsibilities:
* Lead proposals in support of future artillery efforts
* Develop proposals and program plans that address the lifecycle of products from capture through execution and transition of technology to production, and post-production support
* Serve as the primary point of contact for all functions
* Manage stakeholder communications with cross-functional teams, customers, and BAE Systems management on programmatic issues
* Manage the defined scope on schedule, within budget, and at the expected level of quality
* Manage program execution to predictably achieve cost/profitability, schedule, and technical performance objectives
* Meet financial commitments for orders, sales, profit, and cash flow
* Prepare and present program management reviews (PMRs) with information tailored to the appropriate level
* Establish program direction for the matrixed team
* Monitor and control activities on current contracts including disciplined, effective change management
* Implement appropriate actions to resolve issues, manage risks, and realize opportunities
* Primary point of contact for providing clear, accurate, and timely communication to customers Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
* Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of work experience or equivalent experience
* Experience in Program/Project Management

* Experience in Manufacturing/Production programs
* Experience in PLM, including ability to support Engineering, Testing, Transition to Production, System Technical Support, Sustainment
* Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM)
* Experience in People Management/Leadership

* Ability to manage, coordinate, plan, organize, control, integrate, and execute programs/projects
* Ability to lead Risk and Opportunity (R&O) management activities to include identification and development of risk mitigation plans, scope management, program/project plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources
* Ability to lead, manage, and influence stakeholders
* Ability to foster an inclusive workplace in which all individuals thrive and perform at their best
* Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to work across functional boundaries and mature PM capabilities
* Strong business acumen enabling achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives

Full-Time Salary Range: $136000 - $231200 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
