Job Summary:
IntrepidGS is a leading provider of global-scale logistics and advanced professional services, and they are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a 15 person engineering program at Aberdeen Proving Ground. The role involves ensuring program health and performance across various aspects while focusing primarily on program management and new business growth within the Defense market.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as point of contact for coordination and formal discussions with the customers and the Government, including frequent customer interaction with the intent to sustain and improve customer satisfaction
• Interface with the KO, COR, and Government leadership
• Ensure that employees properly comply with the performance standards outlined in this PWS and as required by the Contracting Officer or the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
• Manage all contractor personnel
• Establish and maintain effective relationship with subcontractor support
• Ensure all deliverables submitted on-time or early
• Monitor cost control, financial reports, budgeting, and overall operating costs
• Prioritize work and monitor procedures, and programs
• Ensure continuity of support during contractor personnel changes
• Monitor operations, maintenance, repair, and service operations for quality control and contract compliance
• Confirm that management and contract reports are accurate before submission
• Working through Finance, prepare budgets and cash flows to manage project costs and revenues throughout the process.
• Develop labor and material estimates to support proposed project schedules.
• Interpret and explain plans, budgets, and schedules to administrative and support staff, subordinate supervisors, and client representatives.
• Responsible for client relations throughout the project life, ensures open and positive communications, facilitates change management and dispute resolution.
• Support proposal development to include proposal strategy, proposal management, writing, technical review and establishing basis of estimate.
• Responsible for the facility operations at the APG office
• Meets with potential customers to build company recognition
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 15 years of experience in technology design and development
• Recent Program Management Institute - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• 2 years working within a research or engineering environment directly related to supporting efforts and requirements of the PWS
• Higher degree can substitute for 3 years of experience (of the 15 years’ progressive experience)
• Thorough knowledge Microsoft Office Suite
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks independently
• Excellent follow-through and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Active Secret security clearance
