Optomi, in partnership with a leading global technology and entertainment company, is looking for a Program Manager to join their team! We’re seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to orchestrate complex software initiatives, foster collaborative team environments, and deliver high-impact results. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams in their Glendale office!


What the Right Candidate Will Enjoy:

  • Working in a highly visible enterprise content planning / metadata space
  • Leading and improving Agile delivery across cross-functional teams
  • Building strong partnerships with engineering and business stakeholders
  • Owning delivery clarity (scope, milestones, RAID, RACI, reporting) across initiatives
  • Helping teams mature in Agile practices and strengthen team culture
  • Exposure to a broad ecosystem of interconnected products and integrations (e.g., CPT/CAP/HIRO, etc.)


Experience of the Right Candidate:

  • 4+ years in Technical Program Management (ideally supporting software application development)
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Lead for cross-functional Agile teams
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with Smartsheet and/or Microsoft Project
  • Solid understanding of SDLC processes and best practices
  • Comfort operating across East + West Coast time zones (with occasional off-hours support)
  • Preferred: UI development + metadata management exposure
  • Preferred: Advanced Atlassian suite expertise (Jira/Confluence)
  • Preferred: Metadata/version control/bulk title registration workflows; content planning, rights management, or metadata systems


Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:

  • Lead Agile ceremonies: stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retros, demos
  • Serve as a servant leader: facilitate discussions, guide decisions, and remove impediments
  • Coach teams on Agile principles; drive continuous improvement and maturity
  • Maintain transparent communication on achievements, plans, risks, priorities
  • Build trust, accountability, and momentum across teams and leadership
  • Use Agile delivery practices/tools (e.g., user stories, CI/testing concepts, Jira dashboards) to support quality delivery
  • Develop and maintain program metrics and reporting (progress, quality, risks, opportunities)
  • Create/manage delivery artifacts, including:
  • Project + communication plans
  • Working agreements, scope definitions
  • RAID logs, RACI matrices, weekly status reports
  • Identify/manage inter-team dependencies
  • Monitor and drive resolution of issues, risks, blockers, delays
  • Communicate delivery timelines and scope commitments to dependent engineering teams
  • Coordinate lead-level syncs, project reviews, and executive-level status meetings
  • Hold functional managers accountable for team commitments and deliverables
