Position Summary

Supports the DOE OST Human Reliability Program (HRP) by executing mission-critical duties aligned with occupational health, psychological evaluation, emergency response, and administrative operations to ensure personnel reliability, safety, and compliance with federal regulations.


Key Responsibilities

- Perform initial, annual, and special HRP evaluations or services appropriate to the role

- Document findings and prepare reports in accordance with DOE requirements

- Coordinate with SOMD, Program Manager, and multidisciplinary teams

- Ensure compliance with 10 CFR 712, OSHA standards, and Privacy Act requirements

- Maintain readiness of equipment, records, and systems

- Participate in training, drills, and emergency response activities

- Identify and report conditions impacting safety, reliability, or mission readiness

- Support quality assurance and continuous improvement activities

Requirements

Required Qualifications

- Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an accredited program

- Completion of a one-year APA-approved clinical internship or equivalent

- Minimum of three (3) years postdoctoral clinical experience with emphasis in psychological assessment and testing

- Valid, unrestricted license to practice clinical psychology

- Eligibility for DOE access authorization (Q clearance level)


Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting DOE, NNSA, or other federal programs

- Familiarity with Human Reliability Program (HRP) requirements

- Experience in safety-sensitive or high-reliability environments

- Advanced certifications or specialized training relevant to the role
