Job Title: Electrical Construction Project Manager
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Construction Project Manager to oversee and execute electrical construction projects from start to finish. This role involves managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, including cost tracking, financial forecasting, and project profitability, while fostering strong relationships with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute electrical construction projects from award through final closeout.
  • Track job costs, forecast financial performance, and manage project profitability.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly project status reports, including percent-complete and cost-to-complete updates.
  • Perform detailed electrical take-offs and prepare accurate estimates for new and change work.
  • Review construction documents to define scope, identify risks, and ensure constructability.
  • Make informed decisions related to project cost, schedule, and overall performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, vendors, and internal partners.
  • Support business development by identifying opportunities to cross-sell integrated services.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and direct field labor in collaboration with field leadership.
  • Review master schedules with field leads and support development of short-interval schedules.
  • Promote and actively support an injury-free workplace and a strong safety culture.
  • Negotiate scopes, pricing, and contract terms while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
Essential Skills
  • Project management experience, particularly in construction and electrical construction.
  • Experience with large electrical scopes up to $10 million.
  • Industrial project experience, especially in estimation and construction documentation.

  • Demonstrated experience reviewing electrical construction drawings and producing cost estimates.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and draft construction contracts and detailed scope proposals.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Excel and Word.
Work Environment

This position requires onsite work at projects located in Hermiston, OR. The role offers the opportunity for a discretionary year-end bonus and a 401k with a 40% employer match up to the federal limit. Join a new and growing division within one of the largest electrical contractors in the country.
