Project/Program Manager V
Location: Manassas, Virginia (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract
Role Overview
The Critical Projects Implementation (CPI) team manages construction activities within operational data centers. This role supports Data Center Project Managers by overseeing onsite activities, ensuring projects that improve electrical, mechanical, and structural systems are executed efficiently from start to closeout. The position requires adaptability to meet evolving project demands and priorities in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee construction activities for safety and adherence to policy.
  • Create and ensure vendor compliance with Method of Procedures (MOP).
  • Maintain communication with the Project Manager to report procedural deviations and safety incidents.
  • Coordinate project schedules and document weekly status updates.
  • Conduct morning briefings to review work and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate and receive material deliveries.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in on-site construction trades (e.g., mechanical, electrical, general).
  • 5+ years of on-site construction trade vendor management.
  • 5+ years supporting Data Center projects.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of Data Center Electrical and Mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to understand building systems and construction drawings.

Certifications:
  • NFPA70E Certification.

General Skills:
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical and non-technical problems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify project risks and propose effective mitigations.
  • Ability to move and stand for up to 8 hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience leading retrofit projects in a data center environment.
  • Undergraduate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • OSHA-30 Certification.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $77.00/hr to $87.00/hr.
