Job description

Emerald Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a proactive Program Manager Assistant (PMA) to join its San Jose, CA team! As a PMA, you will play a key role in supporting the Program Management team and collaborating with cross-functional departments to ensure successful program delivery. This position will be responsible for processing customer orders and ensuring requirements are met accurately and on time.

Additional responsibilities include: maintaining records of returns, schedule updates and price adjustments, and helping resolve internal issues promptly, and effectively, tracking, documenting, and reporting program activities for both teams and external stakeholders.

You will work alongside experienced leaders, build core skills in execution, and stakeholder management. Candidates should be motivated, ambitious, and eager to grow, because you will take on increasing responsibility and can transition into a Program Manager.

Responsibilities of the Program Manager Assistant:

  • Helping the Program Manager, in collaboration with Supply Chain and Planning, to create shortage reports or Clear to Build Reports.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager to adjust backlogs, ensuring accurate ship dates, commit dates and improve on-time delivery
  • Assist in processing customer part orders in accordance with established procedures. Accurately enter orders into computer systems per system requirements and established procedures. Issue order confirmations to customers as necessary.
  • Assist Program Manager in collecting information from customer regarding product or service complaints. Process information in accordance with company complain procedures and ensure that the information is promptly delivered to the Quality Team/Quality Manager.
  • Assisting Program Managers to manage commercial aspects of the business including quoting, RMAs and ECOs.
  • Create shippers and invoices for shipments and submit them to the proper customer AR teams. Receive and respond to customer invoicing questions and work with accounting to resolve

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. โ€“ 5:00 p.m.
The schedule is determined based on business needs and coverage requirements. Hours may vary, and flexibility is expected to ensure adequate support for operations. Typical coverage is Monday through Friday, but occasional adjustments may be required.
Work Hours: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.
This is a salaried position; occasional additional hours may be required based on business needs.
