Job description

Program Manager

Program Manager will lead complex and key medium to large programs which encompasses one or many product teams where they will partner with product, engineering and application teams to help define the future of the product and the necessary technologies required to bring those products to life. Program Manager must be comfortable managing remote product delivery teams and possess the ability to facilitate technical whiteboard sessions to troubleshoot project implementation issues and remove barriers to project success. Being able to create cross-functional matrix-based teams, establish trust with a variety of stakeholders and customers across multiple time zones, manage capital budgets, eliminate non-value add activity, design solutions, remove blockers, and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery is a must.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities:

Develops and communicates multiple product portfolio roadmap that illustrates in-flight and planned programs (with metrics and KPIs) and highlights known (operational and technical) cross-program dependencies to enterprise key stakeholders

Performs core program management duties, including guiding the program through formal approval and funding gates; developing an integrated plan that includes program deliverables, strategic alignment, total revenue/profit opportunity, enterprise-wide impacts, milestones, risks, assumptions, constraints, and overall program investment

Monitors program execution to ensure that key milestones and financial parameters are met and that programs are delivered effectively to achieve the overall goals. As well as coordinates and manages drives release schedules for digital client products (e.g. app store releases) with cross-functional teams

Tracks manage and reports on program health to appropriate stakeholders. This includes escalating known dependencies, risk, or issues to be unblocked

Develops and monitors budget and resource utilization reports to identify and escalate concerns to appropriate stakeholders

Collaborate with the product lead, product manager(s), engineering teams and engineering lead(s) to ensure the roadmap, epics, user stories are clearly defined, and backlog priorities are maintained to enable a smooth agile development process and minimize blockers

Facilitating and navigating both strategic and tactical product stand-ups and scrum ceremonies (grooming, planning, retrospectives, etc.)

Perform other job-related duties as requested

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Five (5)+ years of prior experience in managing digital full stack experience programs, management of large capital projects (over $$$$$M) and Agile Methodologies

Preferred:

2-3+ years working with digital technology teams

Previous experience in management consulting, retail, hospitality and/or entertainment focused companies

Prior experience in PMP / Lean / Six Sigma

Certified ScrumMaster

Prior experience in domestic and/or Global Geographical Digital

Prior experience in involving cross functional teams

Prior experience in a variety of project management tools, methodologies and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle

Prior experience in core program management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting and metric development/tracking

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:

Intermediate/Advance Fluency in Atlassian Products.

Basic Coding Experience/Strong technical knowledge.

Intermediate/ High proficiency within all phases of Software Development.
