Program Analyst Hybrid based out of Toronto Full-time, Permanent Opportunity Overview The Responsible Gambling Council (RGC)is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to problem gambling prevention. Formore than40 years, we have worked to reduce gambling risk by creating and delivering innovative awareness and information programs in Ontario and around the world. We work with priority populations, including youth, young adults, ethnocultural populations, and the public, to educate people on the risks of gambling, how to mitigate those risks, and how to access support.

We work with industry, regulators and government to promote the adoption of improved play safeguards through best practices research, knowledge mobilization, standards development, and the RG Check accreditation program. As part of its prevention mandate, RGC operates RG Check, a responsible gambling accreditation program, to provide an independent assessment of gambling venues' and online sites' responsible gambling programs. More information can be found at: http://www.rgcheck.com/ Reporting to the Manager, Team Development, the RG Check Program Analyst will interact directly with clients, clearly communicating information requests, managing expectations and delivering findings

You are responsible for assessing compliance with established criteria and indicators by collecting and examining records, reports, operating practices, surveys, and interviews. Findings are detailed, documented and communicated in a final report and presentation. Why RGC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Communicating and scheduling the various requirements and steps of accreditation process with gambling operators Collecting and analyzing corporate and operational documents and materials including ensuring such documents remain confidential and treating privileged information with discretion Planning, coordinating and conducting venue visits, site assessments, employee interviews, and employee and player surveys Analyzing and assessing documentation and data against established standards Documenting the accreditation findings and reporting the results Writing, editing and formatting business reports and presentations QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Bachelor's degree required, preference will be given to candidates with a post-secondary degree in social sciences, business and/or public health Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in an office environment Strongly proficient in Excel and/or other data analysis software Experience with SharePoint and Copilot is considered an asset Strong critical thinking and analytical skills; able to clearly and concisely identify key points and organize them in a logical manner Good verbal communication and interview skills; ability to interact with employees from a variety of positions from frontline to senior level Ability to remain objective and consider all relevant information and data Detail-oriented Excellent report writing and editing skills Strong presentation skills; ability to deliver complex accreditation results to clients and relevant stakeholders Project coordination and scheduling experience Ability to organize and analyze data Ability to identify anomalies and escalate to senior employees for further input and resolution Proven ability to meet deadlines and achieve deliverables Self-motivated and able to function independently within a team environment Knowledge of the gaming industry, including iGaming and Sports Betting, is an asset Experience working with diverse populations, cultural awareness, and ability to communicate in an inclusive and equitable manner Fluency in a second language in addition to English is an asset (i.e. French, Spanish, Portuguese) Valid Driver's License and Passport Alignment with RGC's Core Values: Humanity, Integrity, Courage and Ingenuity RGC celebrates and values cultural diversity and is committed to attracting and retaining a diverse staff. Salary range is $54,200-$67,800 annually commensurate with skills and experience.
