Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $67,100.00 - $100,700.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Job Description

As a Product Manager I within the Inventory Solutions portfolio at Cox Automotive you will work within a release train that supports Manheim, Central Dispatch, or Ready Logistics. Manheim is the leading Automotive Wholesale Marketplace and operates 70+ auction facilities, managing over 4 million vehicles annually. Central Dispatch is the leading automotive logistics digital marketplace, allowing shippers to connect directly with carriers to facilitate over 17M vehicle moves every year. Ready Logistics is one of the largest automotive logistics brokers in North America, acting as a managed service that moves vehicles on a shipper's behalf.

In this role, you will translate business strategy and stakeholder insights into actionable product plans, define and prioritize requirements at the epic and feature level, and maintain a well-groomed product roadmap. You will collaborate closely with release train leaders and team members across product, engineering, UX, and operations to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of platform capabilities that maximize value. Your responsibilities will span product discovery, roadmap definition in partnership with product leadership, stakeholder engagement, go-to-market planning, and identification of future platform opportunities based on organizational objectives and operational needs.

What You'll Do
Builds foundational Product Management skills and practices through hands-on experience with guidance from senior team members. Performs standard Product Manager duties across the transaction lifecycle, including:

  • Conducting customer and market research to understand pain points, needs, and opportunities across carrier and shipper workflows

  • Analyzing data and gathering insights to inform product decisions related to listing, dispatch, and delivery processes

  • Supporting the development and refinement of product vision, feature requirements, and user stories

  • Collaborating with engineering, design, and cross-functional partners on product planning, development, and release

  • Supporting delivery efforts by helping remove blockers, clarifying requirements, and ensuring teams have what they need to ship successfully

  • Preparing project status updates and facilitating communication across stakeholders

  • Participating in post-launch evaluation and iteration based on customer feedback and metrics

  • Stays informed about emerging technologies, particularly AI and automation capabilities, and identifies opportunities to leverage these innovations to improve product experiences.

  • Learns and applies Central Dispatch's product development standards, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Supports special projects and initiatives as assigned.


    Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and generally less than 2 years' experience in a related field; or 4 years' experience in a related field with no degree.

  • Strong curiosity and demonstrated ability to ask insightful questions that drive understanding and uncover opportunities.

  • Propensity for continuous learning and adapting to new technologies, processes, and market dynamics.

  • Foundational skills in managing multiple priorities, requirements analysis, and system integration.

  • Comfortable working with technology and data; technology savvy with ability to learn complex platforms.

  • Interest in or exposure to logistics, marketplaces, automotive industry, or B2B platforms is a plus.
