Job description

Job Description The BAE Systems Navigation and Sensor Systems (NSS) team is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee the end-to-end strategy, lifecycle, and revenue growth of our current and next generation of GPS/GNSS receivers. The successful candidate will work closely with customers and will lead the charge in driving hardware sales to prime contractors and allied military forces This role will also lead efforts throughout the program life cycle including new business capture and managing small- to medium-sized development efforts as well working with the factory to ensure sales are met and deliveries are on time. The candidate will act as the crucial bridge between engineering, manufacturing, and defense customers, ensuring our solutions meet rigorous mission requirements. The ideal Program Manager should have strong leadership and customer relationship skills, knowledge of the operations build process, be able to adapt to emerging and dynamic requirements, have a good understanding of GPS/GNSS receivers, and possess a strategic mindset for commercially aligned products. Key Responsibilities:
* Drive hardware sales to meet annual goals for the assigned product line.
* Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to capture new defense contracts.
* Cultivate strong relationships and serve as the primary interface with the customer.
* Lead proposal efforts, bid and proposal (B&P) activities, and contract negotiations.
* Lead program reviews, phases reviews, and resolve complex issues.
* Identify capability gaps in the defense market and drive the development of innovative, mission-critical hardware solutions.
* Guide the hardware product roadmap from concept through production.
* Partner closely with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure manufacturability, quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery of hardware.
* Possess 6+ years' experience of managing projects as a Program Manager, Project Manager, or similar role.
* Possess strong leadership and organizational skills.
* Possess strong communications skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of BAE Systems senior management regarding program performance status. Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Bachelor's Degree. * U.S Citizen or Green Card Holder
* Current security clearance or capable of obtaining a security clearance

Full-Time Salary Range: $120874 - $205486 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
