- Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate, inclusive, and engaging learning programs that support children's executive function development.
- Promote educational practices aligned with Fueling Brains' research, philosophy, and curriculum.
Staff Supervision & Development:
- Support, coach, and mentor educators while fostering a collaborative and positive team culture.
- Assist with staff onboarding, orientation, training, and ongoing professional development.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and feedback to teaching teams while helping maintain high-quality classroom practices.
- Support performance management processes and ensure staff follow company policies and licensing regulations.
- Lead campus operations in the absence of the Center Director.
Parent and Community Engagement:
- Build positive and trusting relationships with families through open, professional communication.
- Conduct campus tours and support the enrollment process for prospective families.
- Respond to parent inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in organizing parent events, orientations, and community engagement initiatives.
Compliance and Licensing:
- Support compliance with provincial Child Care Licensing Regulations and organizational policies.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, attendance, and health and safety requirements.
- Assist with licensing inspections, audits, and regulatory visits.
- Help ensure child-to-staff ratios and classroom compliance are maintained throughout the day.
Child Safety & Well-being
- Promote a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for all children.
- Monitor classroom environments to ensure children's health, safety, and well-being.
- Support emergency preparedness procedures and safety drills.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support children's developmental and behavioural needs.
Administration & Financial Management
- Assist with enrollment administration, attendance, staffing coordination, payroll support, and record management.
- Help monitor supplies, classroom resources, and operational inventory.
- Support daily administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the academy.
