Assistant Director of Transportation Job Description

Assistant Director of Transportation will oversee the daily functionality of all regions and brokers. He/she will be responsible for:

  • Coordination of routing for all regions and brokers
  • Scheduling routes efficiently to the standards set by Employment Solutions
  • Troubleshooting route deficiencies and rider complaints
  • Assist in rider intake
  • Billing Audits
  • Assist and attend all meetings
  • Establish and maintain a good rapport with outside agencies and case managers
  • Liaison between broker(s) billing department
  • Train the billing coordinator of daily/monthly operations of assistant director
  • Manage the position of Billing Coordinator to adhere to company needs/standards
  • Assist in making departmental decisions with Director and Compliance Manager
  • Other duties as assigned

He/she will work under the management of the Director of Transportation. In his absence he/she will inherit the Director of Transportation’s duties and oversee the whole operation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. H.S Diploma or GED
  2. Valid Driver’s License and vehicle insurance
  3. have social security card
  4. be 21 years of age or older
  5. have no more than 2 convictions for moving violations in the last 3 years
  6. no convictions of any sexual crime or crime of violence
  7. no convictions for leaving the scene of a traffic accident
  8. Ability to pass random drug and alcohol test
