Who we are looking for
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, supplier performance, and material availability across Gilat Stellar Blu's operations. The role is responsible for managing the Buyers team, ensuring supply continuity, driving cost and inventory improvements, and supporting business growth through strong supplier partnerships.
What you will do
  • Own supplier delivery performance and material availability to ensure uninterrupted production and customer commitments.
  • Develop supplier performance management processes including scorecards, business reviews, recovery plans, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Operations, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management to support production execution and future demand requirements.
  • Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and customer delivery commitments.
  • Drive procurement KPIs, including supplier OTD, cost reduction, and others.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of procurement/purchasing experience
  • Proven experience managing procurement/buying teams
  • Experience in the aerospace industry
  • Experience managing procurement activities in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience managing suppliers, subcontractors, and commercial negotiations
  • Experience working in a global environment
  • Experience with SAP - a big advantage
  • Excellent communication skills
