We are seeking an experienced leader to join our Adaptive Communication and Sensing (AC&S) product line as part of our Tactical Data Links Program Area. This role will report to the Program Area Director of Tactical Data Links and be responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of our newest products. Responsibilities include:
* Lead design, development and qualification of a new commercial product for defense customers.
* Provide leadership to a team of program managers.
* Manage both internal and customer funding streams.
* Oversee the transition of the product from design into production.Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status Required Education, Experience, & Skills * 7 years' work experience with Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience of experience in program or capture management and/or with functional activities related to the program lifecycle, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Demonstrated experience leading product development programs.
* Demonstrated experience in building customer and supplier relationships, leading customer interactions and discussions of a technical and/or strategic nature.
* Ability to understand customers' needs and objectives.
* Ability to lead complex teams that are distributed across geographic locations in a borderless fashion.
* Financial management expertise and experience executing to revenue and profit targets.
* Personnel leadership and management of a diverse, cross functional team.
* The ability to develop creative solutions to highly complex problems.
* Strong written and verbal skills to effectively communicate the program status across the AC&S team. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * Master's degree and 10 years related experience.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or DAWIA Level II/III.
* Prior experience in transitioning new products to production.
* Experience with commercial products and product management principles. Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $153377 - $260743 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
