OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative
Contract Manager / Contract Negotiator to support and manage contracting activities for existing vendor relationships. This role plays a key part in ensuring contracts are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
You will lead negotiations, manage contract lifecycles, and partner closely with stakeholders to deliver efficient and effective contracting solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Support contracting efforts for existing vendor relationships, including:
- Drafting, reviewing, and managing contract amendments and renewals
- Prepare and negotiate contracts for standard products and services
- Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions while balancing risk and business needs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into contractual language
- Use procurement/workflow tools (e.g., Zip HQ or similar) to manage:
- Contract workflows
- Approvals
- Documentation
- Maintain accurate and organized contract records for easy access and compliance
- Manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met
- Communicate contract status, risks, and updates clearly and timely to stakeholders
- Exercise independent judgment in resolving issues and escalating risks when necessary
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with vendors and internal partners
- Contribute to process improvements and contracting best practices
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in contracting, procurement, or negotiations
- Demonstrated understanding of contract terms and negotiation strategies
- Experience negotiating pricing and contract terms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear and effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications- Academic back ground in Business, Marketing, Finance, or Pre-Law
- Experience with Zip HQ or similar procurement/workflow tools
- Strong attention to detail when reviewing legal or contractual documents
- Experience working in structured procurement or contract management environments
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with stakeholders
- Interest in continuous improvement and process optimization
Work Environment- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite (Tuesday-Thursday) in Minnetonka, MN
- Professional office setting with a focus on collaboration, communication, and process-driven work
- Regular interaction with internal stakeholders and external vendor partners

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.00/hr.
