Job Summary
The Solutions Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that our strategic, enterprise wide programs are well defined, planned, tracked and communicated in a consistent manner, responsible for building partnering relationships with C-Suite executives and other stakeholders; responsible for on time, within budget and quality implementation of enterprise wide programs; responsible for executing project management best practices.
Education & Experience
Required:
โ€ข Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or other related field, or equivalent experience
โ€ข 7+ years of managing projects and/or programs at an enterprise level
โ€ข Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
โ€ข Experience managing vendor/partnership relationships
โ€ข Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access)
Preferred:
โ€ข Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or other related field
โ€ข Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
โ€ข Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification
โ€ข Experience working with Veteran Affairs and/or military health system
โ€ข 5 years of experience in a healthcare related industry
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข As part of the Program Manager's Team, develop effective collaborative relationships with TriWest's C-Suite executive and other leaders in Operations, Health Care Services, Provider Network and IT to ensure that TriWest meets contractual requirements and fulfills organizational objectives.
โ€ข Position will work very closely with ePMO team, sponsoring IT Director and assigned IT Project Managers to ensure projects are well defined, planned, tracked and communicated in a transparent, consistent and effective manner.
โ€ข Leads planning, execution, and monitoring of project portfolios, ensuring that program goals are met.
โ€ข Coordinates activities between multiple projects.
โ€ข Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress.
โ€ข Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements.
โ€ข Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies.
โ€ข Managing and utilizing resources across projects.
โ€ข Managing stakeholders' communication.
โ€ข Aligning the deliverables to the program's outcome.
โ€ข Works closely with Contract Management to ensure contract deliverables are tracked, achieved, and reported.
โ€ข Partners with enterprise QPI team to evolve project methodologies, processes, tools and standards in support of maturing our enterprise project management capabilities.
โ€ข Other duties as assigned.
