Job description

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Secret security clearance within a reasonable amount of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Candidate must work onsite. 


ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

General Dynamics Mission Systems is seeking an experienced Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead to support sustainment of the US Navy Ohio Class Fire Control System. The IPT Lead will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team in the planning, execution, and delivery of Basic Order Agreement (BOA) projects in support of operational requirements.

  • Coordinate the planning and execution in alignment with BOA contractual requirements
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding BOA projects
  • Develop and maintain program schedules, budgets, and performance metrics
  • Identify and mitigate program risks and issues
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and technical requirements
  • Facilitate IPT meetings, reviews, and status reporting
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to assess obsolescence and identify refresh solutions
  • Support proposal and BOA task order activities as needed
  • Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
