Job description

Adult & Teen Challenge of NEW INC. is seeking a Program Coordinator to assist the Program Director in supporting the day-to-day operations of the men’s program in Green Bay, WI.

Position Summary

The Program Coordinator supports the effective operation of the men’s program by coordinating client care, program administration, and faith-based support services. This role helps ensure a safe, structured environment that supports clients in their development goals while maintaining program rules grounded in biblical principles.

Reporting to the Program Director, the Coordinator performs a wide range of responsibilities across client supervision, records and administration, scheduling and appointments, volunteer and mentor program administration, and program operations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Program Director with day-to-day operations of the men’s program, coordinating program activities, events, and client support needs.

  • Enforce all program rules in a way that teaches clients according to biblical principles; maintain a firm, respectful approach that builds trust and accountability.

  • Coordinate scheduling for client outside appointments (including dental, medical, and court) and arrange transportation as needed.

  • Support client records and administration, including maintaining required forms and coordinating the Release of Information process under supervision.

  • Administer key program functions involving client accounts and client resources, including processing approved requests and supporting room and supply readiness.

  • Assist with volunteer and mentor administration, including timely responses to inquiries, application processing and follow-up, record maintenance, and onboarding support.

  • Monitor program operations and compliance, including housing facility checks and reporting concerns or needs to the Program Director.

  • Provide administrative support to the Program Director, route paperwork appropriately, and complete other assigned duties.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to the organization and to the spiritual restoration of hurting adults.

  • Strong ability to relate to, mentor, and provide guidance to individuals with life-controlling problems.

  • Ability to interpret Bible verses and apply basic biblical knowledge appropriately and relevantly to clients’ individual life issues and needs; ability to pray aloud with clients and staff.

  • Strong leadership skills in both one-on-one and group settings, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments and competing deadlines.

  • Strong administrative skills, including organization, database management, and word processing.

  • Documented minimum of two years’ freedom from chemical use problems (including tobacco, drugs, and alcohol).

  • Models a lifestyle in compliance with ATCNEW’s Code of Conduct & Statement of Faith, maintaining professional standards of conduct
