What You'll Do
The Program Director is responsible for ensuring the creation of an environment conducive to the provision of service for the individuals supported by the program, including providing supervision to ensure adherence to program regulations. The Program Director is held accountable for ensuring that the program is managed and held to the highest standards. This includes clinical quality, quality assurance, financial management, funder requirements, recruitment and retention, communications, compliance, revenue cycle, and general program operations. A commitment to the RHD values should be demonstrated as job duties are performed. As a Program Director, you will:
- Provide leadership, supervision, and support to program staff while fostering a culture of professionalism, quality care, engagement, and empowerment.
- Ensure staff understand and support corporate strategic initiatives and service line objectives.
- Develop, monitor, and utilize program metrics to measure performance, quality, and staff development.
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, training, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
- Partner with Human Resources to ensure timely staffing and vacancy management.
- Collaborate with Clinical Directors and Quality Teams to implement trauma-informed, person-centered, and evidence-based practices.
- Ensure individuals supported have appropriate ISP and service plans that promote independence and recovery.
- Manage financial operations, regulatory compliance, authorizations, service documentation, revenue cycle processes, and funder requirements.

QualificationsRequired- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Services, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a human services agency, including supervision, direct service delivery, and program planning within Day Services.
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania State Regulations and IDS Guidelines.
- ACRE and CESP certifications required.
- Current driver's license, vehicle registration, insurance, and access to a functional vehicle.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to utilize computers, mobile technology, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Criminal record clearances as required by program regulations.
Preferred
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Spanish-speaking candidates.
- American Sign Language (ASL) proficiency.
