Job description

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will serve as a strategic leader responsible for directing all aspects of a designated business unit across every shift. You will ensure efficient execution of production processes, maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. You will build and lead high-performing teams while partnering with plant leadership and cross-functional groups to achieve operational goals. You will drive business unit performance through effective management of key performance indicators, resource allocation, and employee development, while promoting accountability and engagement across the organization.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe workplace by maintaining compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations and company safety policies
  • Oversee adherence to food safety, quality, and environmental standards, including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points and Safe Quality Food requirements
  • Lead line structure team performance and facilitate Daily Direction Setting meetings to align teams on operational goals and priorities
  • Translate issues identified during Daily Direction Setting meetings into actionable plans and drive timely resolution
  • Facilitate Weekly Daily Management System meetings to review trends, identify improvement opportunities, and establish measurable objectives
  • Conduct Monthly Business Unit Reviews, preparing reports, analyzing results, and sharing best practices across teams
  • Use data insights to develop and execute 90-day performance plans, adjusting strategies to ensure targets are achieved
  • Manage training programs and validate team member competency to ensure compliance and performance standards
  • Partner with Research and Development to support product innovation and new product launches
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on investigations and disciplinary actions to uphold workplace standards
  • Monitor ingredient usage and labor efficiency to meet plant cost and quality objectives
  • Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to ensure production reliability and achievement of plant goals
  • Partner with plant leadership to secure resources, resolve operational challenges, and support team development

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in the food industry preferred
  • Experience using digital tools and systems to analyze and manage operational performance
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate across multiple levels of the organization
  • Experience leading teams, developing talent, and driving continuous improvement initiatives

Compensation

Annual Base Salary: $82,000.00 - $110,000.00

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
