Northrop Grumman, Space Systems, is currently seeking an experienced individual as aProgram Manager 2to provide program leadership to our B-2 & Air Combat Systems (BACS) Development Organization Unit team on-site at ourOklahoma City, Okoffice. We are excited for you to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals.

The PM will be responsible for managing a subset of programs within the B-2 & Air Combat Systems (BACS) Development Organization Unit through all phases of program life cycle; proposal development, negotiation, startup, execution, and completion (contract closeout).

Primary responsibilities are included but not limited to:

  • Responsibility for profit and loss (P&L) for the PM's programs.

  • Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance for assigned program scope.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives and align execution across engineering, plans and schedules, production, quality, and supply chain.

  • Manage supplier performance to meet program and customer objectives.

  • Oversees entire lifecycle of procurement for all program material from engineering to kitting.

  • Measure and report program performance, including risks, opportunities, and compliance with contractual and technical requirements.

  • Ensure team accountability while fostering team engagement.

  • Deliver presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholders.

  • Oversees Bill of Material management and audits to include Engineering Bill of Material and Manufacturing Bill of Material.

  • Serves as the primary interface with the customer, managing expectations, priorities, and issue resolution while balancing contractual requirements with operational execution constraints.

  • Continuously drive for results.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master's degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined below:

  • Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions.

  • Experience with EVMS and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).

  • Experience in managing suppliers to schedule and budget.

  • Experience in project/program management, resource management, and strategic planning.

  • Must have an active U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting DoD sustainment programs or contracts.

  • Experience interfacing with external customers.

  • Experience in all aspects of the engineering development lifecycle.

  • Experience of familiarity with aircraft system development and production, supply chain, and engineering.

  • An active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance.

Primary Level Salary Range: $131,800.00 - $197,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
