Business Development Manager
Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading staffing organization specializing in industrial, manufacturing, and skilled labor solutions, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to support expansion in the Ft. Worth, TX market. This role is ideal for a proven "hunter" sales professional with experience in staffing, workforce solutions, or industrial/service-based sales.
This position offers the opportunity to build new client relationships, grow market share, and partner closely with recruiting and operations teams to deliver high-impact staffing solutions.
Business Development Manager Job Summary:
Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 base + commission
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Work Environment: Office-based with 60-70% field/client visits
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, target, and secure new client accounts within industrial, manufacturing, construction, and skilled labor sectors
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new and emerging markets
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients through cold calling, networking, and lead generation
  • Conduct in-person client visits (field sales) to develop and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers
  • Partner closely with recruiting and operations teams to ensure successful service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Leverage industry knowledge to identify workforce trends, labor demands, and competitive opportunities
  • Manage full sales cycle including prospecting, presentations, proposals, negotiation, and contract closing
  • Maintain CRM documentation, forecasting, and activity tracking
Business Development Manager Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of proven B2B sales or business development experience required
