Job Description

This role offers a rate of $25.00 per hour at this location. The compensation is fixed and does not vary based on qualifications.

We are seeking an enthusiastic R&D Analytical Chemist intern to join our state-of-the-art Research & Development facility during this summer for 90 days. This internship position will expose the candidate to concepts and practices of raw material analyses, and will help you grow your professional skills and broaden your experience as you contribute to our strong knowledge-based R&D team.

To develop your activities and improve your knowledge and experience, you will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing Raw Materials by GC/MS, FTIR, DSC
  • Organizing data for later retrieval
  • Performing other duties or projects as assigned
Qualifications

To be considered to this opportunity, you will be required to:

  • Have a BS Chemistry or related degree or at least 2 years of undergrad completed with an average minimum cumulative GPA 3.0
  • Have completed scientific laboratory classes
  • Have excellent written, reading comprehension and good math skills
  • Demonstrate proficient with Microsoft Suite programs
  • Apply strong analytical skills
