About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Program Director to lead outpatient behavioral health and substance use treatment services. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing program operations, supporting clinical staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving high-quality patient care within a collaborative and mission-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for behavioral health and substance use treatment programs
• Supervise, mentor, and support clinical and administrative staff
• Monitor program performance, quality metrics, and patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, staff development, and performance management
• Develop and maintain community partnerships and referral relationships
• Support program growth initiatives and operational excellence
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and quality assurance activities


Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Active North Carolina licensure preferred (LCSW, LCMHC, LCAS, LPC, or equivalent)
• 3+ years of leadership, supervisory, or program management experience in behavioral health, mental health, or substance use services
• Strong knowledge of clinical operations, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
