The Opportunity


We're seeking a Commercial Superintendent with a background in commercial and/or residential construction who's ready to grow with a communitydriven general contractor. With a collaborative team, diverse project opportunities, and strong mentorship, you'll help deliver quality projects and a great client experience across the Fraser Valley.


As a Commercial Superintendent, you will lead day-to-day site operations from mobilization to closeout-coordinating trades and field staff, running site meetings and toolbox talks, and keeping detailed daily reports. You'll drive the schedule, manage site documentation and inspections, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to spec-delivering quality results and a positive client experience.


This role is based out of the Fraser Valley, with the possibility of travel to out-of-town projects. If you are positive, people-oriented, and excited to build meaningful spaces for the communities we serve this could be the role for you!


Your Key Responsibilities


  • Keep a daily log of construction activities.
  • Hold weekly site meetings to track project schedules.
  • Conduct Toolbox Talks and orientations.
  • Handover of home to clients and delivery of warranty documents.
  • Develop and plan for project requirements (manpower, equipment, and materials).
  • Hold required site meetings.
  • Daily walkthroughs of projects - quality assurance and site photo uploads.
  • Daily updating of project schedules.
  • Supervise field staff and trade partners.
  • Teamwork; open to be on the tools.
  • Duties may evolve based on project needs, organizational priorities, and direction from leadership.


Your Qualifications & Skills


  • Minimum 5 years of Proven experience as a Residential or Commercial Superintendent.
  • Adequate computer skills to communicate with all project stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience with Worksafe BC safety standards.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean abstract required.
  • Current First Aid certification an asset.
  • Familiarity with CoConstruct and Salus an asset.
  • Red Seal trade qualification is an asset.
