Job description

Job Summary:
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology is seeking a Service Delivery Manager for the Massachusetts Green High Performance Computing Center (MGHPCC) to ensure high-quality operations of its HPC environment. This role involves coordinating delivery of compute and data services, liaising with stakeholders, and contributing to strategic planning and vendor management.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure high-quality, reliable operations of its state-of-the-art HPC environment.
• Coordinate delivery of compute and data services to a diverse user base.
• Work in close partnership with facilitation and science support staff from Massachusetts AI Hub organizations.
• Liaise with academic and industry stakeholders.
• Oversee performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to strategic planning and vendor management.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proven experience managing technical service delivery for large-scale computing environments, preferably within HPC or advanced IT infrastructure
• Strong understanding of cluster operations, scheduling systems, and service performance management
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience working directly with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and drive operational improvements
Preferred:
• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks
• Vendor coordination
• GPU or cloud-based infrastructure
