Job Description:

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. We are seeking aStrategic Capture/ Program Managerto join our CMS Sector, leading strategic capture and program delivery initiatives while ensuring excellence in daytoday operational delivery. In this role, you will drive Medicare strategic program execution, account planning and organizational readiness, while also supporting growth through capture, proposal development, and growthenablement activities. You will be part of a highimpact organization helping evolve and scale GDIT's CMS portfolio.


HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Engaging with crossfunctional technical and business teams to advance innovation strategy, modernization roadmaps, and implementation planning.
  • Support daily operations within our CMS Sector, ensuring effective program execution, issue resolution, and performance tracking (approximately 50% workload).
  • Supporting business development and capture efforts (approximately 50% workload), including opportunity shaping, proposal input, color team participation, and development of staffing plans.
  • Initiating and managing job requisitions for key personnel aligned to capture and delivery needs.
  • Administering and maintaining relevant SharePoint sites to ensure documentation integrity, collaboration access, and functional structure for Bid and Proposal and operational workflows.
  • Providing executivelevel briefings, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to support decisionmaking and growth of the CMS Sector.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Master's degree
  • Required Experience: 5 + years of experience leading complex IT, cloud, or modernization programs
  • Required Technical Skills: Ability to manage competing priorities across operational delivery and business development; understanding of capture processes, proposal development, and federal acquisition lifecycle; Demonstrated expertise in CMS strategy, modernization initiatives, and enterprise transformation; Experience with program management, P&L accountability, organizational leadership, and executive communication; Familiarity with Agile transformation, DevSecOps and modernization methodologies; Experience building or managing SharePoint sites in support of program or B&P activities
  • Attributes for Success: Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex challenges into actionable plans; Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail; Collaborative, people centric leadership style; Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment; Excellent communication and relationship building abilities; Strong executive presence, stakeholder management capability, and team leadership skills.
  • Preferred Skills: 10+ years' experience; Federal Acquisition Certification; PMP Certification; Experience with managing teams; Familiarity with program transitions; Prior Federal Experience with CMS a plus
  • Location: Hybrid - working 1 day onsite at the Windsor Mill, MD office
  • Security Clearance Level: Must be clearable for a Public Trust -Applicants shall have lived in the United States at least 3 out of the last 5 years prior to going through the public trust background investigation and submitting an application for a Federal ID Card

The likely salary range for this position is $129,813 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
