Responsibilities

The NWN Program Manager is responsible for managing complex programs and leading a portfolio of strategic accounts. This role assumes ownership of Services financial performance, delivery execution, and client outcomes across one or more accounts. This position operates as a senior leader across assigned accounts, driving profitability, forecasting accuracy, delivery excellence, and long-term client partnership success. The role partners closely with Sales, Delivery, and Customer stakeholders to ensure alignment between strategic objectives and execution.

  • Own Services P&L for strategic accounts, driving revenue, cost control, and margin performance
  • Develop accurate forecasts and proactively manage financial risks across portfolio
  • Lead execution of multi-year strategic account plans and growth strategies
  • Identify and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned to client objectives
  • Build and maintain senior client relationships; serve as primary escalation point
  • Lead and participate in client-facing QBRs and account reviews
  • Oversee program and project delivery to ensure on-time, on-budget, in-scope execution
  • Establish governance frameworks, including risk, issue, and dependency management
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Delivery, Finance, and Legal on execution and contracts
  • Drive service improvement, operational efficiency, and customer experience enhancements
  • Manage program execution, including scheduling, reporting, financial tracking, and closure
  • Provide leadership and oversight to program/project managers and cross-functional teams
  • Understand and articulate NWN service offerings and capabilities
  • Represent NWN with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and delivery frameworks
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent experience Required
  • 10+ years of IT project / program management experience Required
  • Experience managing large-scale or strategic customer engagements
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
  • Subject matter expertise in project and program management best practices (PMBOK-based)
  • Strong financial acumen, including portfolio forecasting and margin management
  • Experience managing complex programs and multi-project portfolios
  • Ability to drive business outcomes through delivery execution and client engagement
  • Experience working across Sales, Delivery, Finance, and Legal functions
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across multiple accounts
  • Experience mentoring and leading Program Managers or PMO team members
  • Current PMP Certification Preferred
  • Demonstrated comfort with adopting emerging AI tools and technologies to optimize processes, improve collaboration, and drive operational effectiveness.
