Description
The Construction Coordinator role is an apprenticeship for students coming out of high school who are looking for opportunities in the construction industry. Participants will have access to on-the-job training, mentorship, and development opportunities. The program is a one-year minimum commitment with tremendous growth potential within the industry.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Implement Crisis Control Plan
โ€ข Assist with weekly job site safety inspections
โ€ข Assist with daily guardrail / hole cover / safety net inspection
โ€ข Attend daily/weekly safety meetings
โ€ข Assist with verifying materials being installed match submittals and contract drawings
โ€ข Help maintain QAP Program in Procore
โ€ข Assist with material tracking log and material being on-site
โ€ข Assist with development of final punch list
โ€ข Understanding of project schedules
โ€ข Assist with RFI and submittal processes
โ€ข Document control management
โ€ข Attend weekly trade partner meetings
Requirements:
โ€ข High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
โ€ข Must be able to work 40 hours per week
โ€ข Desire to pursue a career in the construction industry
โ€ข Strong written and verbal communication skills
โ€ข Valid Driver's License required
