Job description

Standard Job Description
Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
You will be responsible for proactively managing program execution across cost, schedule, technical performance, and contract requirements while ensuring successful delivery of program objectives and customer commitments, and strategic business goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, sound business acumen, and the ability to effectively manage geographically dispersed cross-functional teams through all phases of program execution. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities of the Microelectronics Focus Area development programs. This role requires close coordination across Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Planning, Global Supply Chain, subcontractors, and internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative microelectronics solutions within a fast-paced, technically complex environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Lead daily program execution activities and ensure alignment with technical, business, and strategic objectives.
• Oversee program cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
• Monitor schedule performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement corrective actions to maintain program execution objectives.
• Validate technical deliverables against customer requirements, program milestones, and quality standards.
• Coordinate across Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Planning, Global Supply Chain, subcontractors, and internal and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless program execution and communication.
• Serve as the primary customer interface for program execution activities and communicate program status, risks, and recovery plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple sites and support critical execution activities.
This position is located in Orlando, FL or Dallas, TX.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Engineering, Program Management, or a related discipline.
• 2 or more years of Program Management, Project Management, or related experience within the aerospace, defense, microelectronics, or advanced technology industry.
• Demonstrated ability to support execution of development programs involving cost, schedule, technical performance, and contract requirements.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating activities across Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Planning, Procurement, and Operations organizations to accomplish program objectives.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, technically complex environment.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal leadership, customers, subcontractors, and technical teams.
• Working knowledge of program management principles, risk management practices, and program execution methodologies.
• Experience using business and program management tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project or OpenPlan, SAP, and other scheduling or financial management systems.
• Ability to operate with limited day-to-day direction while demonstrating sound judgment, initiative, and accountability in program execution activities.
• Understanding of how program performance impacts broader business operations, customer relationships, and strategic objectives.
• Ability to travel domestically on a limited basis to customer, supplier, subcontractor, and internal company facilities as required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US-DOD Secret Clearance.
Desired Skills
• Experience supporting technology transition efforts from development into production or operational use.
• Familiarity with IR, RF, and/or Power systems for military, scientific, and/or commercial applications.
• Familiarity working with government laboratories, DoD customers, or federally funded research organizations.
• Exposure to semiconductor development environments, including familiarity with PDKs, ADKs, and EDA tools.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $120600.00 - $224000.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
