About the Role
IREX is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the Fulbright Teacher Exchanges team. This role provides critical administrative and operational support for program implementation, stakeholder engagement, event coordination, participant management, reporting, and compliance activities. The Program Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring high-quality program delivery while supporting participants, partners, and funders.
What You'll Do
Program Administration & Coordination - Coordinate program activities and provide logistical support for events, workshops, trainings, and travel. Maintain participant data and program records, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Support monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities. Assist with the preparation of program materials and resources. Provide on-site support during workshops and events.
Stakeholder & Participant Engagement - Serve as a point of contact for U.S. Embassies, Fulbright Commissions, participants, and partners. Support communications, outreach, publicity, and participant engagement efforts. Facilitate or support teacher training workshops and related activities. Draft correspondence and communications for internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting & Business Support - Contribute to donor reports and quarterly reporting requirements. Support survey implementation, data collection, and analysis. Track participant success stories and program impact data.
Financial & Compliance Support - Process payment requests and support financial reconciliation activities. Assist with contracts, procurement, subawards, consultants, and vendor agreements. Ensure activities comply with IREX policies and funder requirements.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience (internships and part-time experience may be considered).
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cultures and time zones.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM, communications, and collaboration tools.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with teachers, schools, or educational programs.
  • Experience with data management and reporting.
  • Experience coordinating large-scale events or trainings.

Hourly Rate: $25.00/hr - $32.00/hr
