Job description

What you'll be doing: 

The Program Coordinator Manager (PC Manager) is responsible for overall program delivery and staffing at their assigned site. In partnership with site leadership, the PC Manager oversees Program Coordinators to ensure high-quality, consistent delivery of patient programming, including responsibility for scheduling and Paid Time Off (PTO) management. 

Essential duties and responsibilities: 

  • Provides oversight of the assigned team by supervising, guiding, and directing employees to ensure effective performance 
  • Ensures team members are equipped with the appropriate skills, tools, and capabilities to execute their duties 
  • Utilizes established people processes (performance management, development, succession planning, and career progression) to meet current and future performance standards 
  • Conducts performance evaluations, provides coaching and counseling on performance issues, and promotes a positive and supportive work environment 
  • Oversees the hiring and onboarding process for new Program Coordinators and serves as a direct mentor for licensure supervision assignments.  
  • Develops and fully implements flexible staffing plans to efficiently align staffing levels with patient census 
  • Participates in group facilitation and provides direct patient care support as needed for supervision purposes and in response to facility needs 
  • Ensures all required documentation for Program Coordinators is completed accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards, and participates in ongoing chart audits 
  • Achieves clinical and operational objectives by contributing insights and recommendations to strategic planning. Implements patient-focused standards by resolving issues, completing audits, identifying trends, recommending system improvements, and supporting the implementation of change 
  • Interfaces with Housing and Transportation, Nursing, Treatment Teams, Facilities and contracted Food Services Management leadership and staff 
  • Serve as a Handle with Care (HWC) Trainer for the program, providing initial and refresher training, maintaining certification, and ensuring compliance with HWC standards and practices 

Must haves: 

  • High school diploma or GED (required) 
  • 1 year experience in behavioral health setting (required) 
  • 6+ months experience of leading or supervising teams OR 1+ years' experience within ERC demonstrating leadership aptitude (required) 

Bonus qualities: 

  • 2+ years' experience in behavioral health setting (preferred)
