About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Aerospace Engineering Program Manager to lead complex engineering programs supporting the development of advanced aerospace systems. This position requires a highly organized technical leader who can coordinate cross-functional engineering teams, manage supplier relationships, and ensure critical project milestones are achieved on schedule.

The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background combined with proven program management experience in the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex aerospace engineering programs from development through manufacturing and qualification.

• Coordinate daily activities with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and external suppliers.

• Drive program schedules, deliverables, and milestone completion.

• Manage integrated project plans and ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.

• Monitor technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.

• Prepare executive-level program status reports, KPIs, and progress metrics.

• Coordinate engineering design reviews and ensure action items are completed.

• Support qualification testing, certification activities, and hardware delivery.

• Review engineering documentation, technical drawings, qualification plans, and quality documentation.

• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal leadership teams.

• Lead cross-functional meetings and resolve technical and program-related issues.

• Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and customer requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.

• 5+ years of Engineering Program Management experience.

• Aerospace industry experience is required.

• Strong technical engineering background.

• Experience managing engineering suppliers and cross-functional teams.

• Excellent project planning and scheduling skills.

• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proven experience driving projects to successful completion.

• Ability to obtain required site access/security credentials.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting aircraft propulsion, nacelle, engine, or aerospace structures programs.

• Experience with aerospace product development and certification.

• Knowledge of engineering documentation and quality processes.

• PMP certification is a plus.

• Experience with MS Project, Primavera, Jira, or similar project management tools.
