SUMMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB:
The Program Manager is responsible for overall managing all aspects of customer programs. Manage all the simultaneous engineering functions including integrated suppliers to ensure program implementation meets all customers and Company's objectives. Directs project team members to accomplish required program tasks. Provide commercial support to ensure all customers and the Company's economic goals are achieved
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Program Coordination - Lead cross-functional project team(s) to execute program milestones per project timing.
    • Direct project team members' efforts and set work priorities.
    • Ability to ensure project team collaboration.
    • Coordinate between the customer and overseas factory.
  • Technical Support - Provide information to customers regarding product and technology
  • Program Communications Internal/External - Program communication to sales, management, and factory internationally when required
  • Program Support - Ensure timely responses to a customer, factory, and management
  • Program Development - Support Program activity and business pricing.
  • Program Tracking - Track program developments.
    • Create detailed project planning showing individual tasks, task interaction, duration, and timing for assigned programs
  • Support Special Requirements - Work autonomously to resolve inter-department conflicts.
    • Escalate to Management for attention in a timely manner if required Support any other special requirements, instructions, special reports, or administrative duties to assist in maintaining the account
  • Improvements - Process improvements, identify issues, make recommendations, implement resolutions
  • Perform other duties as related to the job function as required

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS/COMPETENCIES:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business degree required. MS Engineering or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of Program Management experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of product development task planning and synchronization.
  • Ability to use PC-based planning applications such as MS Project
  • Ability to manage the work of a cross-functional team.
  • Maintain team motivation to maximum manpower effectiveness.
  • Product cost element knowledge.
  • BOM, direct labor, indirect, depreciation, amortization, and development costs/investment financial elements
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, AS400 a plus
  • Excellent English written, verbal, and communication skills.
  • Japanese and/or Spanish language communication skills are pluses.

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:
5 + years of leadership and supervisory experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
A normal amount of sitting and standing, average mobility to move around an office, and ability to conduct a normal amount of work on a computer.
SALARY
At NMB, the pay band for this role is between $95,643.00 and $143,465.00 annually, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base pay is a part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range of the pay band process.
